WindReach is a fully accessible 3.7 acre site located in Warwick, Bermuda serving people with a wide range of physical and intellectual disabilities.

Our site consists of:
• a multi-purpose building
• sensory room
• stables, paddocks and an indoor riding arena
• sensory trail, nature pond and skink habitat
• petting zoo
• campground, playground and tree house

All of WindReach’s facilities are available to both able and disabled persons, supporting our core value of inclusion.

Among the special needs community, the opportunity to do ordinary activities can be an extraordinary gift and at WindReach we have made it our mission to enrich the quality of lives of people with special needs. WindReach offers programmes and activities providing educational, therapeutic and recreational opportunities. Our programmes help persons with disabilities to develop the skills they need to integrate into the broader community and lead a more productive life.

OUR FOUNDER

WindReach was founded in 1999 by Alexander (Sandy) J. Mitchell, MBE. Sandy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was very young, but has not allowed what might be seen as a disability by others to affect his positive outlook and his accomplishments in life.
